In Billings, they are attempting to change the city from the top down, it is EXTREMELY conservative as a city, yet somehow magically, the city council is now filed with far left wingers and one verified socialist, Denise Joy. Supposedly there was "low voter turnout", yeah right. Not buying it. They are attempting to upend our way of loud under our nose. City council positions are "non-partisan", NOPE! But what it does do is make it easier for socialist and leftist to low by not having to declare their party. We have to stop them or Montana is doomed! They want to stop urban expansion here, of course, what that really means, is building up. They want to litter the city with bike lanes that almost no one will use. Then I'm sure they will start allowing the homeless to crapnon the sidewalk too, I saw this happen in Oregon. Ill be damned if it happens here. Montanans need to wake up!

Excellent points! I live in one of the MT rural areas mainly to get away from the big city, tourist traps. Recently, the town has been promoted and noticed. I don't want all the other bells & whistle businesses that eventually come along. Just wondering if you heard of the movement to restore passenger rail service to many of the southern MT rural cities & towns? https://www.bigskyrail.org/ I think this would help rather than add to the invasion of move-ins. Especially for us, the elder or vehicle-less crowd, who can utilize a convenient & pleasurable means of transportation to the other "hubs" for services not available in our towns. I'd like to know your opinion.

If the rail service is privately funded and not subsidized or publicly funded I would be fine with it. If it cannot however gain traction without public subsidies than I would fully be against it.
